The television receiver of the black-and-white image "Snowball" since 1964 produced the Omsk television factory. The first model in the Snowball series was a television set named Snowball-64, the pilot production of which began in October 1964. Several hundred copies were produced, which were distributed to the best workers of the plant for intensive use, the identification of deficiencies and their elimination. From the beginning of 1965 began the serial production of the TV with the name "Snowball". The unified (UNT-35) black and white TV of the 3rd class, with the lyrical name '' Snowball '', is designed to receive television studio programs on any of the 12 MV channels. The television used a kinescope 35LK2B with image size 380x490 mm, 14 lamps and 14 diodes. Sensitivity 200 µV. Rated output power 0.5 watts. A highly efficient AGC, AFC and F line diagram was used. It is possible to listen to the sound on the headphones with the loudspeaker off, recording the sound on the tape recorder. Food from the alternating current main with a voltage of 127 or 220 volts. Power consumption 140 watts. Model dimensions are 490x380x510 mm. Weight - 25 kg. The TV was produced in several variants of the front panel design. According to the same scheme and design, with the exception of small changes in the design of the front panel, television sets with other names were mass-produced in various factories of the country. Since 1966, the plant began to produce the TV "Snowball-2", which, apart from other design options, was no different from the base one, it was the same CNT-35. In 1967, on the conveyor of the plant, the new model "Snowball-301". If the figure 64 in the 1st model meant the year of production, and "Snowball 2" was the 2nd model, then the numbers 301 in the 3rd model indicated the 3rd class of the TV, and 01 1st modernization. Here an improved CNT-35-1 scheme, which was developed for the Record-67 TV, has been applied. The TV has a new shortened kinescope 35LK6B also with a beam deflection angle of 70 degrees.In 1968, again, a new model, this "Snowball-302", which will repeat the previous one without change. In 1969, the plant began production of the latest model "Snowball-303", which, in addition to the name, also does not differ from the previous one. All three models of the 300 series were produced in a similar way, but each in its own design. Since 1970, the plant switched to the release of models with the name "Quartz".
