The automobile radio tape recorder Ural RM-292SA-1 has been produced by Sarapulsky Radiozavod OJSC since 1991. The radio tape recorder in its technical characteristics and functionality for 1991 did not have domestic counterparts. The presence of a microcomputer control system and a tape recorder in the radio tape recorder with an autoreverse of Japanese production or a custom-made tape recorder of its own design, called LSM-392, allowed creating a product with an expanded set of consumer qualities. The radio tape recorder is equipped with an automobile speaker "Ural-15AS-392A", in the photo or similar Japanese "'15 AS-08A" 'consisting of two two-way loudspeakers. The radio tape recorder is intended for reception in the bands DV, SV, KB, VHF and stereo playback of phonograms using IEC-1 and IEC-2 tapes. In the receive mode, the radio tape recorder provides auto search for radio stations, manual tuning to the frequency in step-by-step mode (tuning step in AM-2.5, FM-10 kHz), silent tuning during auto-searching, memorizing and storing previously recorded frequencies in the memory with the car radio off car, automatic review of fixed settings with a stop and the ability to listen for 5 ... 7 from each station. The radio tape recorder has an autoreverse at the end of the tape in the cassette, manual switching of the direction of the tape movement, fixed rewinding of the tape, manual ejection of the cassette, a tape type switch, automatic reduction of noise. In the radio there is a volume control, stereo balance, bass and treble tone. Liquid crystal display at reception indicates the included range, 4-digit frequency value, search mode, frequency, fixed setting number, fixed settings recording mode. During playback, the direction of movement of the tape, the activation of the noise reduction system, and the type of tape are indicated. Sensitivity, limited by noise, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 20 dB in the AM path and 26 dB in the FM path in the ranges: DV 140, CB and KB 50, VHF 3 µV; selectivity in the ranges of DV, SV, KB 36 dB; selectivity on the mirror channel in the ranges: DV, ST - 50, KB - 40, VHF - 70 dB; effective frequency range for tapes: IEC-1 - 63...10000, IEC-2 - 63 ... 12500 Hz; weighted detonation value ± 0.4%; the relative level of noise and interference in the playback channel without UWB for tapes: IEC-1 not more than 48, IEC-2 - 50 dB, with included UWB, respectively, 52 and 54 dB; rated (maximum) output power not less than 2x3 (2x12) W; ML dimensions - 191x186x58 mm; weight 1.8 kg; dimensions of one speaker - 215x150x115 mm; AC kit weight - 2.2 kg.
