The tape recorder is powered from the network through the built-in (inserted instead of one of the compartments of 3 batteries) or an external power supply unit or from 6 A-373 elements. The power consumed from the network is 2 watts. The battery pack is enough for continuous tape recorder operation for 10 hours. The tape recorder is made of impact-resistant colored plastic.
